FURNACES
In Alaska, 80%-90% of homes are heated by furnaces. We install a wide range of furnaces customized to your location and heat requirements. Furnaces heat a home through series of duct work and are typically installed in a crawlspace, utility room or garage. Most furnaces run on natural gas, but they can also be powered with propane or fuel oil. The average life expectancy of a well-maintained furnace is 15-20 years.
WALL FURNACES
Wall furnaces, sometimes known as space heaters, are designed for smaller heating applications where supplemental heat is desired like a garage or utility room. Wall furnaces are not connected to ductwork and do not carry heat to the rest of the house. They are also an affordable option for heating a small addition and generally can be retrofitted easily. These units run on natural gas.
